How to overcome self-doubt



When you’re trying to reach your target, one of the worst things you can do is to give your doubts energy. I know that our goals can seem impossible to achieve, but attaining them is possible! Don’t underestimate the power of your thoughts and beliefs. They are very powerful, and I know what it’s like to get stuck in a negative mode, feel angry, frustrated and hopeless. So here are some things you can do to overcome your doubt:


Whenever you get that feeling of doubt, you have to put a stop to that belief. Either say out loud or in your head NO to that thought/belief, and affirm that you will get what you want. If affirming what you want is too far from your current state of mind, say: I am in the process of acquiring my (state your goal). -What helps me a lot, is to think of how I or others have turned things around in the past. You can, in addition think of famous people who went through some really rough times and setbacks and then were able to achieve their goals and beyond. Some examples are Oprah Winfrey, Samuel L. Jackson, Jay Z, Charlize Theron and Steven King, to name a few.


Watch or listen to motivational speeches. I have spent hours watching videos featuring speakers such as Wayne Dyer, Jack Canfield, Oprah, Tony Robbins etc. and it always helps me overcome my doubts.


Hang out and surround yourself with positive people that help uplift you. By all means please stay away from negative people that bring you down and enhance any self-doubt. Whenever I’m around positive people I feel so much more uplifted and more hopeful of my goals coming into fruition.


When you’re planning on making big changes in your life, it’s common to get concerned about how others may react or what they think of you. Or you may even think people believe you’re loser because of your current state. Thinking this way can increase self-doubt. As wonderful as you are, the truth is, people don’t think that much about you. They have their own life and concerns which precede you or anything you’re dealing with. Also however you think of yourself will project onto how others think of you. So if you think well of yourself, others will too. So be sure to think positive thoughts about yourself.


Lastly consider listening to hypnosis videos. There are plenty of videos on youtube that you can play while you sleep. They help create motivation and a more positive mindset, all of which helps diminish self-doubt. Our subconscious mind will pick these messages up while we’re sleeping and help you wake up in a state where you’re ready to move forward. I wish you the best with your journey.
